We hope to create a database of all the avocado varieties currently grown in Spain.

With this database, we can encourage and facilitate the exchange of avocado cuttings.

An avocado cutting is needed to graft onto your rootstock; it will then grow and, hopefully, bear fruit.

Obtaining cuttings is essential for successful avocado cultivation. But finding them in Spain isn't easy.

Aguacateros.com aims to solve this: to encourage more people to grow avocados in their gardens and, above all, to share grafts and fruit locally in a community-based, non-commercial way.

We've created a group for non-commercial avocado growers in Spain. Everyone is welcome to join: come learn about new avocado varieties and share grafting techniques. Joining our WhatsApp group is completely free.
